Electrical Project Manager

 To supervise the successful and profitable completion of projects. Every team needs a leader. This is a critical leadership position where you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring that they are completed in time and under budget while maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Compensation: $40,000 to $70,000 in base pay, plus bonus opportunities for successful projects

Reporting Relationship(s): Operations Manager

Responsibilities: Supervision of entire projects including Superintendents, Foremen, and Subcontractors.

Workplace: Office environment with job sites in Metro Atlanta Area.

Day to Day Tasks:

Conduct meetings with superintendents.

Assign personnel and teams to daily tasks.

Supervise personnel so that everything is done according to

NFPA 70E

5 POINTS EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK

and in a professional and proficient manner.

Communicate effectively with operations manager regarding status of job.

Manage materials so that products arrive on time, are organized and stored so that none is lost, and are easily accessible so as to keep production high.

Provide superintendents with everything needed to run the project.

Keep abreast of worker performance.

Communicate with GC and other trades regarding project status.

Use technology to improve communication and efficiency.

Handling financial aspects of project.

Supervising Assistant Project Manager.

Create Submittals.

Train others to advance their careers.

Long term planning of project.

Handling change orders.

Quality control inspections.

Enforce 5 Points Safety Handbook and Employee Handbook.

Represent 5 Points Electrical in a professional manner.

Drive growth and profitability through effective project execution.

Ensure schedule requirements are met; adjust priorities and milestones based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and project requirements.

Required Experience and Skills:

5 years of electrical experience

2 years of supervisory experience

Basic low voltage experience

Basic computer skills

Proficient knowledge of the NEC and construction safety requirements.

Skilled at reading and interpreting plans

Safety Conscious

Leadership skills

Driver's license

Desired Experience and Skills:

8 years of electrical experience

4 years of PM/superintendent/foreman experience on large $1,000,000+ projects

Knowledge of prefabrication techniques

OSHA 10/30

Knowledge of NFPA 70E

Journeyman's License

Master Electrician's License

Scissors Lift/Boom Lift/Telehandler Certified

Knowledge of low voltage, fire alarm and lighting control systems

Experience withBluebeam/Fieldwire/Rexit/Conest/AutoCad/BIMsoftware
