This position will coordinate activities related to procuring goods and services for the company.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Procurement of materials, equipment and services
Developing and executing purchasing strategies
Negotiating with vendors on pricing and terms to ensure mutually beneficial relationships
Coordinating with vendors & suppliers on scheduling of goods and services
Work directly with the Project Managers for bid/job pricing
Create, review and submit purchasing orders
Troubleshoot discrepancies between issued purchase orders and invoices
Required Skill Set:
Knowledge of procurement principals, strategies and best practies-ELECTRICAL OR RELATED
High level understanding of industry terminology
Proficiency with computers and working knowledge of MS Office Software
Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent personal organizational and relationship skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
