We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to run service calls, install electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshoot malfunctions, and more. The ideal candidate must be experienced in residential, commercial, and some industrial electrical industries.
Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects Survey electrical systems, circuits and plan Troubleshoot electrical issues effectively Communicate with customers, team mates, and office staff Document job progress, and keep up to date notes on work orders & jobs
Proven experience in the electrical trade Ability to use tools of the trade, read drawings & blueprints Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability Able to work well on a team & communicate effectively Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
