Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and more. The ideal candidate must be experienced in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
  • Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears
  • Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
  • Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits and plan
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
  • Communicate with customers, team mates, and office staff
  • Document job progress, and keep up to date notes on work orders & jobs

Requirements:

  • Required 5+ years proven experience in the electrical trade
  • Ability to use tools of the trade, read drawings & blueprints
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Able to work well on a team & communicate effectively
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
