Description

Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install and maintain wiring, control systems, and lighting fixtures
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
- Troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical systems and equipment using testing devices and hand tools
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
