Job Title: Electrical Service Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated electrical service technician to join our team. As an electrical service technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical work including installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with relevant codes and standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the best course of action for repair
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the work that needs to be done and provide excellent customer service
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies in the field of electrical services
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrical service technician or a similar role
- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components
- Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
