Responsibilities:&nbsp;
1. Thorough Project Analysis:&nbsp;
- Examine project specifications, drawings, and relevant documentation to grasp the project's scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to collect essential information necessary for precise estimating.
2. Accurate Cost Estimation:&nbsp;
- Experience in Accubid/Accbud Anywhere/other similar estimating software to formulate detailed and precise cost estimates for electrical projects.
- Assess material, labor, and equipment costs meticulously to determine the overall project expenditure.
- Develop comprehensive and competitive bid proposals within established deadlines.
3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:&nbsp;
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with electrical projects, integrating risk factors into cost estimates.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to devise strategies for mitigating risks and enhancing project success.
4. Effective Vendor and Subcontractor Relations:&nbsp;
- Solicit quotes and proposals from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring a thorough evaluation of project costs.
- Evaluate and negotiate vendor and subcontractor bids to guarantee competitiveness and alignment with project specifications.
5. Thorough Documentation and Reporting:&nbsp;
- Create and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of the estimating process, including assumptions and methodologies.
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to convey cost estimates, project risks, and other pertinent information to internal and external stakeholders.
6. Collaborative Team Engagement:&nbsp;
- Forge close working relationships with project managers, engineers, and other team members to align estimated costs with project objectives.
- Engage in active collaboration with fellow estimators, fostering knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement in the estimating process.
7. Commitment to Continuous Improvement:&nbsp;
- Stay abreast of industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies to ensure estimates reflect current and accurate information.
- Provide constructive feedback on past projects to contribute to ongoing enhancements in estimating accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Responsibilities: Repair, Service, and/or installation of electrical systems. Troubleshoot all problems effectively while performing quality repairs.
Daily Tasks:

<li>Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment</li>
<li>Perform routine preventative maintenance</li>
<li>Adhere to all safety policies and procedures</li>
<li>Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently repair electrical systems</li>

<li>Communicate estimated timelines and/or changes to work orders to the service team</li>

Required Experience and Skills:

<li>At least 4 years of commercial experience in the Electrical field</li>
<li>A valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li>
<li>Must have a clean driving record, and reliable transportation</li>
<li>Must be available for on call rotation. On call rotation is split between the service team. Each service electrician is expected to be available for after hours and weekend emergency calls 1 week out of the month. Techs are compensated for their on call week.</li>

<li>Ability to read blueprints and schematics</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills</li>
